“Rose Adage” is a lovely pale pink work that draws on the famous Act One ‘Rose Adagio’ pas de cinq of the “Sleeping Beauty” ballet. This masque is covered with a dusky pink deconstructed, embossed Viennese lace heavily hand-glitzed with Czech beads, Swarovski pearls and elements, crystals and pink beading with a further scattering of Swarovski elements applied to the delicate trailing veil of silver gossamer net. Soft pink roses nestle around the crown and face and a white floral spray with pearl beading and miniature roses rises from within the centre of the crown. The quiet movement of suspended crystal beads provide an additional sparkle.
